In 1949, Paul B. Haun established Kingsport Armature & Electric as a motor repair business, adding electrical contracting services two years later.
Today, the company is a full-line commercial electrical contractor with 100+ employees on job sites and multiple motor shop and office employees. Current president and owner, James R. Haun, has operated Kingsport Armature & Electric for over 45 years.
Licensed in Tennessee & Virginia
We hold electrical contracting licenses in both Tennessee and Virginia and concentrate on the commercial, institutional, and industrial markets. We also continue to provide quality electrical motor rewinding and repair at our Kingsport location.
